Following releases on Airtime and Lacuna Records, we welcome Dutch producer Eli Samuel to the label with the 'Freedom Society' EP. This release offers three original tracks packed with nothing but rich and melodic vibes. Title track 'Freedom Society' treats us to a series of lush, mesmerising pads whilst making effective makes use of a classic house organ. 'Call It Love' is a straight up club tool with a thumping kick drum forming the main backbone of the track. Eli makes use of deeper pads and rhythmic melodic bleeps here which add depth to a euphoric chord sequence. 'Over You' rounds off the package with a strong groove-laden bassline, combined with an array of off-beat snares and a well harmonized vocal for good measure. Surrounded by music from a young age, with influences ranging from jazz and funk right through to 90s hip-hop, Eli Samuel's sound is the epitome of funky and groovy house.
